- Advanced methods of geometric modelling and visualisation
- Basics of geometric-semantic modelling with Building Information Modelling (with Autodesk Revit)
- Introduction to parametric modelling with digital methods (with Dynamo)
- Analysing IFC files using C# programming (with Visual Studio)
- Basics of visualisation with renderings and game engines (with Unity)
- Practical application in the field of civil and environmental engineering, geodesy and traffic engineering
Note: The contents and event times are coordinated with those of the module Engineering Informatics Project (IIP). This means that both modules can be taken in parallel.
Recommended prerequisites
Geometric Modelling and Visualisation I (GMV I)
or basic knowledge of 2D CAD software
Basics of Engineering Informatics (GDI)
or basic knowledge of the programming language C#
