New research assistant at the IIB

On May 1, 2022 Mr. Oskar Neumann, M.Sc. starts his work as a research assistant at the Institute of Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering. In the coming terms Mr. Neumann will supervise the courses “Engineering Informatics I” and “Engineering Informatics II”.

Mr. Neumann studied civil engineering at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in his bachelor's degree and mechanics at the TU Darmstadt in his master's degree. He gained work experience in various engineering disciplines (DYWIDAG: bridge construction, Werner Sobek: structural engineering) and at several institutes of the TU Darmstadt (FZD: sensor technology and data processing, IFSW: service life calculations).

Mr. Neumann's research focuses on mathematical modeling of dynamic processes in an urban context and the application of artificial intelligence in the field of numerics.
