The doctoral seminar of the Institute of Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering took place from 19 to 21 July 2023. The venue this year was the city of Neumarkt located in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria).

The traditional PhD seminar of the Instiute of Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering (IIB) took place this year with the participation of the IIB team and interested students from 19 to 21 July 2023. This year's venue was the city of Neumarkt located in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria). In addition to the presentation of dissertation topics and their discussion by those present, research projects and news from the Institute were presented. The second part of the seminar consisted of a visit to the Max Bögl group in nearby Sengenthal. In addition to a presentation of the company and a guided tour of the plant, content on the topic of digital transformation in the construction industry was exchanged and discussed.
