The IIB congratulates on the doctorate

Two of our former employees have successfully completed their doctoral theses. Dr.-Ing. Tim-Jonathan Huyeng and Dr.-Ing. André Hoffmann have achieved their academic goals with their hard work and dedication, and we would like to congratulate them warmly. During their time at the Institute of Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering (IIB), they have not only expanded their expertise, but also made a valuable contribution to research and development in the field of construction informatics. With their theses “Mobile-autonomous monitoring system based on IoT and Open Data using floods as an example” (Tim Huyeng) and “AI-supported detection of traffic safety indicators and derivation of associated deficits based on condition detection and assessment of rural roads” (André Hoffmann), they have provided innovative solutions and valuable insights in their research fields. We wish them every success for their future careers.
