Im Februar 2019 findet die erste internationale und multidisziplinäre Konferenz des Graduiertenkollegs KRITIS zum Thema „Urban Infrastructures: Criticality, Vulnerability and Protection“ an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt statt. Im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz stehen vernetzte kritische Infrastrukturen in Städten als sozio-technische Systeme, die aufgrund ihrer Schwachstellen besondere Schutzstrategien erfordern.

In its first international conference, the Research Training Group KRITIS brings together civil engineers, computer scientists, urban and spatial planners, architects, sociologists, political scientists, historians and philosophers as well as practitioners from the public administration and operators of critical infrastructures to discuss various protection strategies.
